Introduction of our group:

The remote sensing group of the SNAPlab has a long history of research excellence in geodesy and remote sensing, and in particular the combination of the two for ground and structural deformation monitoring. The main research areas include:

  • Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR)
  • Optical Remote Sensing
  • Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS)
  • Photogrammetry
  • Building deformation monitoring
  • Location Based Services (LBS)

It is supported by Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRC- SI) and Australian Coal Association Research Program (ACARP). It has strong collaborations with local mining industries and government agencies.
